After
San Miguel by the Bay is my flavor of the month
I first posted about it in the early part of this week when I went there with my mother whom I "date" as often as I can
And then I was there again tonight -with my officemates
(All of whom were hungry and excited to tell their individual stories about today's big anti-government rally)
We arrived at the "baywalk" in time to catch a fireworks show - a regular weekend treat for the area
I have seen fireworks so many times and in various parts of the world
But somehow, it still brings out the kid in me
And I catch myself still blabbering with "ooooohs" and "aaaaaaaahs"
Then it was time for eating
Time for picking out seafood from the "wet market"
And having it cooked at one of the "paluto" outlets
Crabs, shrimps,fish ...
Hot-chili sauced, steamed and grilled
Plus an occasional "sisig" and "nilagang karne" - (agaaaaaaaain !!!)
I jumped into it
Eating with my hands
And lickin'my fingers
It was gooooooooooooood
So good -that I forgot to take my usual "food photo shots"
All I have for you is an "after" shot

The food you mentioned and your ‘after shots’ make me hungry...and I had lunch just an hour ago! Needless to say, reading this post gives me a heart-burn!:D
luna,
Yes - that gives a mean idea about taking "after" shots ...
Hmmmm
Thanks for the thought drift

luna,
oooops - I meant "that gives me an idea about taking "after" shots ..."
hahahaha
if only seafood isn't that expensive in these parts of the world. sigh. we're just so happy to find a sushi restaurant that has all-you-can-eat for 20€ (one way of getting my seafood-fix). and knowing the owner/chef, helps a lot, too! hee...
