Indulge

Walking can be tiring
Food is my fuel
And on festive moments like this weekend has been
I indulge (hahahaha - as if i ever don't indulge)

How festive is festive on Manila's streets without street food ?
Eat light
Always on the go

Peace ....

Time and again we are reminded that street food isnt really healthy...ok lang, we need Vitamin D too, vitamin Dumi! hehehe....

Oi I miss those footlong, banana cue? wow! Sometimes I dream of having my own foodhouse here that serves food in sizzling plates. wala kasi dito or a stall with footlong and good tasting bread that matches it, I never get used to the taste of bread here with hotdogs lol!

Gizelle,
Vitamin Dumi- hahaha
It's the dumi that makes it taste good.

Go for your dream - set up the foodhouse. Kayang kaya mo yan.
Like they say -you'll never do it if you don't do it ...

street food... festival season!! the first fest in town is this coming weekend - 28-30 mar. i can't wait to eat all the goodies then hate life after that! hahaha!

some of the pics look good. but the others make my arteries cry for mercy. especially the chicken skin. sorry, but i find that disturbing.

is that 'eggspress'? is that a kwek-kwek stand? i like the sound of it--eggspress, very creative!:D

a friend tells me that the vitamin D in street foods make them tastier...lalo na daw pag madumi ang kuko ng tindera! hahahaha

thanks for the link. i am now, enlightened. so they're like pork rinds. when i saw chicken skin, i was like, "what on earth?" hahaha!

yes!!! i can't wait for the fests. specially, the 10-day winefest in august. there's this tent that sells wonderful sekt that we frequent at the fest. thank goodness, we live right in town so we don't have to worry about driving and parking. hehehe.

why don't you guys try to visit this summer?

Fitz,
hahaha - actually meron - magkasama sila nung popcorn na pink.
Kaya lang in my excitement naubos ko before I even thought about taking a picture . Sobrang sarap kasi yung kropek - yung parang gustong dumikit sa dila ...

Didn't see singkamas. Baka off-season.

Thanks for droppin' by
Hanap ulit akong kropek para ma-blog :-)

For sure the streets of Manila are not kind to people on a diet.
What still amazes me is that people are eating at whatever time of the day here...

Sidney,
Yes - eating is a national past time,if not a national sport.
There is so much chismis that we always need a food break so we can "talk"...
