A full moon illuminated the cool evening
Wifey, growing son and yours truly were out in the streets
Enjoying the festive atmosphere
Thick crowds
People shoulder to shoulder
Eye to eye
Side by side
There was a need to be careful
Street smart
Watchful
Cautious
Peace .....

I saw this yesterday but forgot to comment lol...That 'sign' is powerful!
True though, Pinas is not a city like Norway, my dad used to tell me if you leave something and you come back for it you'll still find it there, but that was when I was a kid, I don't know now.
But speaking of religion again, We make sure we give back what we find, an older friend of mine, would always find a celfone in trams (4x last year and once this year) she gave all of it back to their respective owners. And then one friend who is of another religion, took the phone, removed the simcard and used it =)
I guess conscience and spiritual upbringing will push one to take or not, whatchathink?
that notice is so funny! i like that.
Gizelle,
Yes 'Pinas is a far cry from Norway.
Sometimes the demands and pressures of surviving just blur the dimensions of values like integrity. It's not a validation - dishonesty is wrong .
I do hope that someday the strengths of consciences will overcome the temptations of easy solutions...
